Airfield Soest – Bad Sassendorf

Coming from the east taking the motorway A 44 ( Kassel direction Dortmund )
exit Erwitte/Anröchte in direction Erwitte.
At the first traffic light cross road turn left and follow the Soester Str. (formerly B1). After about 7 km
turn left at large yellow  sign-post “ Flugplatz “ (airfield). After about 1 km turn left again heading to the airfield. Please take attention to the sign-posts.

If you are coming from other east or northeast directions, take the cross road
in Erwitte towards Soest and follow the Soester Str., otherwise as above.

Coming from the west over the A44 (Dortmund in direction Kassel), exit
Soest-Ost over the feeder road towards Soest. Follow the signs Bad Sassendorf.
Turn left on to the Soester Str.. Attention – speed control !!

After about 6 km (there are two houses on the right and a farm on the left side)
at the sign “Flugplatz” (airfield) turn right and after 1 km turn left.
Follow the road  to the airfield – please pay attention to the signs and drive very slowly.

You can also follow the ProWing signposts.

The airfield Soest/Bad Sassendorf is PPR. In spite of this it is possible to
approach the airfield at weekends, at public holidays and  in the summer
after 4 pm.

The airfield has the lane 07/25. The aerodrome traffic circuit height is 1.200 ft MSL.
The airfield Soest/Bad Sassendorf has a southern circuit height (the N is reserved
for the parachutists). When lane 07 is in activity you need to fly a right traffic circuit.
Soest INFO has the frequency 133,465 MHz.

Arrival is only possible up to the Thursday before the ProWing event and only
with  previous arrangement.
Departure is only possible after the end of the event.( from Sunday 6 pm )

Attention: During the event the airfield is closed, there are no arrivals or departures possible!
